Keitech Educational Foundation, Inc. celebrated its 10th Year Founding Anniversary last December 13, 2019 together with its 4th Grand Alumni Homecoming as hosted by Batch 1. The event was attended by Keitech’s President Emeritus, Dr. Paul A. Aquino together with the staff headed by its OIC Administrator, Mr. Erwin B. Magallanes, guests and visitors from our partner, the PASAR Foundation, Inc., and former Keitech staff and trainers.
Keitech 10th Year Anniversary & 4th Grand Alumni Homecoming
The event started off with a motorcade around the municipality of Kananga, Leyte going to Keitech Leyte Campus, which was then followed by a Holy Mass. And as part of the annual tradition of the alumni homecoming, they also had a tree-planting activity. For this year, we have planted 100 Kamagong seedlings from the Watershed Management Department of EDC LGBU. In the afternoon, the Alumni Officers had an Amazing Race participated by our Alumni and Year 11 trainees.
In the evening was a fellowship among our alumni and Year 11 trainees – experiences were shared and advices were given to further encourage our scholars to do better in their training. Also, two (2) Alumni were given due recognition for their accomplishments in their chosen field thus bringing honour and prestige to their fellow alumni and to Keitech Educational Foundation, Inc. The awardees were Mr. Ruel Matuguina, Food and Beverage Supervisor of Bai Hotel Cebu, and Ms. Tetchie Oledan, Safety Officer of Meralco. The program ended with a formal turn-over from Batch 1 to Batch 2 as the host for the next Grand Alumni Homecoming which is set to take place on December 19, 2020.
